Amaryllis won't talk

Orchid Chronicles:

 The ladies are perturbed because the "skinny red plants" will not communicate with them. They think the "red plants" are stuck up floral snobs. "Director, why do the tall red plants stay so fresh looking? Why do they not fade? The red plants are uppity and won't communicate with us!" stated the fading Lilac Ladies.
"Ladies, the tall red plants are arrogant and are just 'adorning' the center for awhile. They are different and will leave soon. Don't feel neglected, the tall red plants rarely talk to anyone," I told the orchids. 

 I didn't have the heart to tell them, that the red skinny plants were just imitation silk amaryllis plants. I give them an A++ for trying to communicate with the silk flowers though. LMAO
