Bears invited?

Orchid Chronicles:

Yesterday Chartreuse came to me with a question, "Director, may we use the dining room table for the Awakening party?" The thought of orchid party punch on the new center carpet made me flinch. "Why the dining room table?... l could bring another table into the kitchen if you just need more dance space?" I suggested. Chartreuse rolled her eyes and said, "We invited the bears, so we need more room." 

"Bears? What bears? Do you mean the Teddy bears in the china hutch?" I asked dazed.

 Now she really had my attention! This time Char looked at me like I'd asked the dumbest question on the planet. "Yes, those bears silly Director! The bears play the music for us. They don't talk, but they clap their paws and keep beat for dance. They are the D.J.'s. We had to invite them."
I was stunned. The image of a D.J. teddy bear playing techno music for an orchid dance party pushed me over the limits as to the status of my sanity. But then I talk to orchids and run an orchid boarding center, so why am I to question music making bears? This is creativity, not a sanity issue.

"Okay, Char, you may use the dinning room table..BUT FOR DANCING ONLY...ALL FOOD AND DRINK IN THE KITCHEN ONLY!"

Char squealed and quickly told the other orchid ladies. I heard them squeal too in delight.

Talking orchids and music making bears...this is certainly a new chapter in my book of reality. But LOL all the way.
