Carmen Santiago

Orchid Chronicles: I was drooling over a new shipment of orchids at a local Lowe's store. A new plant department employee noticed me looking at the ladies, and started to ask me many questions about orchids. Wow, an informed box store employee
!I had my eye on one particular orchid, but too pricey. It was an end of bloom orchid. He reduced the price to five dollars from $20, and gave me a whole bunch of insider advice. He told me the gorgeous flower was on the special undercover mission… Black OPS… Checking out Flora Flamboyant's international escapades. The orchid I purchased had been placed on purpose to catch my attention at that store. Throwing caution to the wind, I purchased this beautiful flower and took her home to the center. I was told this new flower's codename was Carmen Santiago, and she was from an international greenhouse located in Chile, South America. Carmen wasn't at the center two hours before she cozied up to Flora Flamboyant. And I thought I had problems with the press!
Not only is Carmen beautiful, but she been humming a vaguely recognizable tune since she arrived.
