Orchid Chronicles:
The Lilac Ladies, Chartreuse, and Orchita have been huddled up all week discussing something that's out of my hearing range. I discovered something last night about their discussions. I heard a noise last night and saw an eerie glow coming from the center 's kitchen. What I saw surprised even me. The girls were having a séance. Orchita appeared to be the ringleader, complete with lace shawl and crystal ball. They had drug out of storage a battery operated candle (the eerie glow) and the glass "disco ball" (i.e. hummingbird feeder), and were trying to contact Char's parents located at a faraway greenhouse. Her parents were in a greenhouse alright, but in a place I never thought of. Her parents were really, really,really, far away… as part of secret governmental off world colony. I wanted to bust out laughing, but stifled my laugh to learn more. It dawned on me that Orchita and the Lilac Ladies might be fooling/bullying Char.
....OR OR OR Maybe Char really was from off world!!! That would make her visitation to the center a "Close Encounter of the floral kind." I need to keep on eye on the girls, while looking skyward for UFO's. I hope no one gets hurt If this is a prank.
