Orchids report weather

Orchid Chronicles:

The orchid ladies looked out the window this morning and were alarmed by an unfamiliar winter atmospheric condition. "Director, Upward, LOOK! The Upward is color of water, like warm time of the season. The Upward is not ...
foggy dirty any more. Does this mean the end of our world?" Said Char Margaritta.
"Orchid residents, do not fear. Upward is called sky. It's always the color of water. We call that color blue. Sometimes in the short day, cold months, the sky is cloudy and gray. This cold season has seen a lot of gray days, and few blues day. The world is not ending, just dreary. Enjoy the blue sky today, it's going to snow tomorrow. Thanks for the weather report ladies." I said to the orchids ladies. The center residents nodded understandably, but then Keikos spoke up, "Digger (her baby talk name for director), what is Dreary?" I looked to Orchita for help in translating Dreary to Keikos. "I've got this, director. Come with me Keikos. We shall drink tea and talk of Dreary." Keikos excited for the attention, was heard squealing all the way down the hall following after Orchita.

I followed close behind squealing also for more blue sky days as well!
