Orchid Chronicles: Our newest visitor to the center is a bit of a mystery. She has a definite accent, and I'm having a hard time translating what she says. Even the Lilac ladies are struggling to communicate with her. She's well versed in geography, a bit of a floral vagabond I suppose, and claims to have relatives from some of the finest greenhouses in Europe… Particularly from Rome Italy. ... Between the work of ladies and me, we finally have her name figured out: Orchita Venis Purpura. I'm not sure what floral language group she's speaking, but with the help of Google translate I may be able to figure out where our mystery lady comes from. So, Orchita is her name for now, and as for her card tricks, I'm $20.00 out due to her slight of hands. Perhaps that is a portent that she's going to be a "real handful" while staying with us at the center.
