Orchid Chronicles: The Old Grey Goose, quietly and stealthfully, gained some new followers: the younger Scarlet O'hare girls. When the radishes appeared on the scene and the verbal inuendos began, the Old Grey Goose quietly separated the two youngest O'Hare girls and kept them occupied talking about typewriters of old. The girls were so taken in by the personal attention from the Old Grey Goose and the fact that typewriters were not "wireless computers" and didn't need electricity or batteries to work, that they didn't get involved with the verbal brewhaha happening with the older girls. The O'Hare younglings realizing The Old Grey Goose had protected them, were forever grateful and followed her like little bloomlets for days after the "royal radish rumble". The younglings even began to seek out the Old Grey Goose, and questioned her with vigorous ethusiasm about such strange things as.....the Ford Pinto.
And believe me the Old Grey Goose loved the attention from the inquisitive younglings as well. It was a mutal bonding....
