Itsy bitsy spider

Orchid Chronicles: The Freckles sisters came to me distressed again.  The reason was different this time. An "itsy bitsy spider" had made a web in the bottom leaves of their orchid plant. They were shocked, "Girls like us don't get spiders!..."...
" Ladies, ladies, calm down, any plant can get spiders. Don't worry this won't hurt a bit," I told them. And with that thought I used my trusty watering

can to wash the insect perpetrator away. The Freckles girls were happy and went on their way arguing about the next art project. In the meantime, the Lemon sisters, watching the "first aid spider treatment", started laughing and chimed in with yet another impromptu rendition of "Itsy bitsy spider" song:

"An itsy bitsy spider climbed up the orchid stalk.
Director came along and washed the spider out.
Out came the sun and dried up all the rain,
So the itsy bitsy spider will not be seen again!"

Everyone laughed including the Freckles sisters. I also realized the Lemon sisters had performed an "in the moment" action...and they didn't even need the Florance Welk orchestra. The Lemon sisters may be locked in time with their song choices, but they are acting in the now. Spider gone. Lemon sisters living in the "now". This was a good day at the Center.
