As the Director of the Orchid Care Center, I occasionally attend conferences related to the field of greenhouse care giving and orchid psychology. I left for a three day conference, but took an early flight home due to some business that needed attending. When I arrived unexpected at the center in the morning....HOLLY HANNAH..What a mess!! The ADHD Freckles sisters apparently wore off some of their extra energy by (working together no less!) starting a paint ball fight using the abundant fruit (raspberries, blueberries, and currants) brought to the center for the Foods classes to make jam. The Freckles' girls and the Flora Birds (all 13 of them) managed to "redecorate" the kitchen facilities with sticky purple berry paint ball ammunition splotches and splashes everywhere making the kitchen look like a 60's rock poster. 
Clean up began immediately to say the least and the Freckles girls an the Flora Birds spent most of the morning scrubbing the kitchen. But To my surprise I discovered that there was another piece to this paint ball fiasco: My Sous Chef! He started the whole thing by tossing a few blueberries at the girls and they retaliated by arming themselves with paint ball guns. Even though my Sous Chef has been my main squeeze for many years...
he'll be chopping a bunch of veggies for this escapade. Shesh!
