Lilac Ladies final prediction

Orchid Chronicles:  
The Lilac ladies called a press conference.
How does one tell the press that their time is limited..that sleepy time is near?
 For the first time the Lilac ladies were struggling with what to announce.
Tiny Tina, who has be

come quite attached to the Lilac ladies, held her leaf as she faced

the press in support. 

 

"The time has come", the orchid said, "to talk of many things, of

sleepy time, and Distant dreams, and if orchid's do have wings."

 

"It was kind of you to come and you are very nice!"
The orchid said nothing but nodded slightly twice
and stated in her somewhat cryptic way:

"Don't weep for me, I'll be in a happy space.  So I predict from this point forward "The center is the place".
And she started away from the podium. The media folks were

stunned. Someone yelled out, "Who will predict the future for

us if you are asleep?"

"You'll have to depend on your own talents and intuition." said the

Lilac ladies, and she walked away with no regrets.

 

She winked a

t me as she passed by, and whispered in orchid language ,"There's

 no better time than the present."

And I thought I heard an Irish tune as she step-danced down the hall...
