Do predictions determine the future? The Lilac ladies predicted an Irish event for our center.. The media all bought into her prediction. Wasn't it amazing that an orchid could make such a prediction, all the media stated.
The Lilac ladies simply used powers of observation to forge their prediction. They had become aware of an outside garden dweller inhabiting the center. The orchids could not see the big pot of green shamrocks from their vantage point in the window, but they could hear them singing little Irish ditties in the wee' hours of the evening. By sending a message to the shamrocks from one of the media reporters, a connection was made, a sneaky event was established, and the party was on. The kitchen butcher block (AKA disco floor) was available and so the Lilac ladies, Plum clan and Tiny Tina met for Irish step dance instruction from the Shamrocks. What a commotion...they woke me up with all their hooting, hollering, and stomping roots to lively Irish music on the disco dance floor. it was cool to watch the ladies dance and the orchids gained a cross-floral appreciation of the lowly garden dwellers.
I did have to intervene and insisted on lights out. it was 10:00 pm.
So did a prediction determine and event? YES..but a prearrange one.
The good news...they all had a good time being Floral lords of the dance!
