Sweethearts arrive

Orchid Chronicles: 

   Just in case anyone is interested in starting their own orchid center, Home Depot has a huge selection of some pretty nice Orchids to choose from - -just in time for Valentine's Day.

 

Honestly, I looked at every one of them and could have scooped up the whole bunch and brought them to the center. They were all gorgeous.

 

I finally caved in and selected this little cutie. Just so happened she was also holding a blinking, neon sign that said, "DIRECTOR, PICK ME"....

 

I'm really a sucker for blinking neon signs....

 

I brought her to the center quickly, and put her with Orchita and Chartuese. The older girls will introduce her to the center rules and expectations. She's three stems full of petite little lavender-pink blossoms and many buds still to open.

 

I'm not sure of her name, but I think "Sweethearts" just might fit for now.
