ORCHID CHRONICLES:
During our twice weekly high tea meetings, Freckles has been bending my ear about events that the Old Grey Goose passed on to her. She told me of the time in the Kitchen when the orchids had an impromptu disco dance....it was the Old Grey Goose who lead them all on to the dance floor and talked to them about John Travolta, Donna Summers and the BeeGees.
It was the Old Grey Goose that led the orchid ladies in doing the "Hustle". They all laughed hard, but decided the Old Grey Goose was still pretty lively for her age. The mental picture of the wily Old Grey Goose leading the other orchids and explaing a disco ball was enough to make me laugh out loud too.
