The Orchid Chronicles: The Green Peas visited the Orchid Center yesterday. The Green Peas, "tight as peas in a pod" family group entertained the residents with magical tricks and jokes all day. They performed "pull the rabbit out of a pea pod", and " saw a pea pod in half" to the amusement of all. However, the sneaky Scarlet O'Hare sisters convinced the Green Peas to play a trick on the Center Director. The trap was set: green ball-bearing like peas were placed all over the kitchen floor! When the unsuspecting Center Director walked into the kitchen, she slipped and went sprawling across the floor. Everyone was howling except the Center Director (and the Old Grey Goose who was appalled at the joke). The Director gathered herself up, swept up the peas from the floor and said to tricksters, 'Green Peas, you've been quite a handful,and you entertained everyone here but me. But I'm the director...Frankly, you're being canned.''. The laughing stopped.
