In the beginning, I took on a sickly orchid...and then another orchid...and another. I have discovered that orchids have personalities. I have learned to speak in "orchid tongue" language. I now own an Orchid Boarding Center for wayward orchids. Follow along as I recount semi-believable stories about life in my orchid center....some people call me the "orchid whisperer."

Resistance is Futile
Okay, I have been patient. I have resisted bringing home all the sadly tended orchids at Home Depot or other store outlets for months. I have repotted and watched several orchids naturally fade...and waiting for them to rebloom, but I have reached my patience limit. Smith's grocery store in Saratoga Springs had beautiful, healthy orchids for $9.00 vs the reg. 15.00-24.00 price. I talked to each plant on display...two ladies found their ways into my heart and shopping cart. You'll be introduced to them soon enough ...I'm acclamating them to the center's expectations for now.
