Flora Flamyboyant Fades

Orchid Chronicles: Flora Flamboyant is fading fast. Her frolicking and fast paced fantastic lifestyle is forcing her to fade away. Sleepy time. The real reason Flora came to the center was that she was an end of bloom orchid, and knew that 

we'd care for her during her sleepy time. All of the flash, glamour, fake followers, and famous ones could not be depended upon to help Flora in Sleepy time. She wisely chose our center for protection.
In spite of her end of bloom status, though, she has waited patiently holding her head high for the president to arrive as he promised. The president has been busy dealing with the devastation of Hurricane Dandy,and He did send his newly appointed ambassador to China, the ex-governor of Utah, Gary Herbert.Th ambassador did bring a pretty certificate and a hand written letter of thanks from the president, but it wasn't the same. Flora was disappointed. So was everyone else at the center. I did have the certificate framed and put it in the glass trophy cases for all to see any way. 
Flora has learned many things here at the center.The Lilac Ladies and I predict that Flora will be a new orchid with a new attitude when she re-blooms. The Freckles girls started singing "New Attitude" for Flora as she faded away. (click on the link below to hear the song)
