Meet my newest residents of the Orchid Center--The Lemon Sisters (formerly known as the Lemon Drops)....
These ladies are a dilutional bunch locked in time. They are performers, who still wear chiffon princess style dresses, bouffant hairdos and sway together in rhythm when they sing old time songs like "Button up your Overcoat". They sang with the Florance Welk orchestra and were pretty popular in their earlier life. They are having a hard time trying to keep up with technology and song styles. Their latest fiasco was trying to sing Amy Winehouse's "Rehab" hit song in 4 part harmony. The Orchid Center Director will work with the ladies on living in the now...not then.
